Victoria Thomen Open Studio

Open Studio by Victoria Thomen: photography and video on landscape, memory, and the relationship between human beings and nature, as a space for listening, reflection, and shared imagination around peace.

On the occasion of RAW for Peace, Victoria Thomen opens her studio to the public from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, offering a moment of encounter and dialogue through her artistic research.

Her work, developed through photography, video, and contemporary visual practices, explores the relationship between human beings, territory, memory, and the transformation of landscape. The Open Studio becomes a space of observation and listening, where images offer an opportunity to reflect on the way we inhabit the world and on the visible and invisible wounds that cross places and communities.

Within the context of RAW for Peace, peace is not approached as an abstract idea, but as a practice of attention, awareness, and relation. Through works engaging environmental, social, and poetic themes, the artist invites the public to pause and enter a slower, deeper dimension of looking, one that can hold fragility, complexity, and the possibility of regeneration.

The studio opening is intended as a simple yet concrete gesture of sharing: a time devoted to encounter, conversation, and presence, in which art becomes a sensitive language for imagining forms of coexistence that are more attentive, empathetic, and humane.
