PEACE EFFECT is an exhibition that explores peace as gesture, tension, desire and transformation. From outstretched hands in dialogue to the fragilities of our time, we seek works capable of conveying intimate or collective visions of hope and reality.

On the occasion of the Day of Peace on April 24, 2026, organized by Rome Art Week, the Area Contesa ArteDesign International Gallery invites artists to reflect on the profound meaning of peace, today more urgent and necessary than ever.

 PEACE EFFECT is an exhibition that explores peace as gesture, tension, desire, and transformation. From outstretched hands in dialogue to the fragilities of our time, we seek works capable of conveying intimate or collective visions, between hope and reality.

The works on display explore peace as a fragile and dynamic balance, made of contrasts and reconciliations; they do not represent it directly, but evoke it through atmospheres and perceptions that invite us to slow down and reflect. What emerges is a contemplative space in which art becomes a sensitive experience, capable of triggering a personal idea of ​​peace in the viewer.
