ABOUT PAINTING. For a "realism" of essence.

The "About Painting" project was created by Laura Grosso with the aim of focusing on the specifics of painting, following the group experience "Italian Artists Paint Hangzhou" in China in 2011.

The project has already given rise to several groups, and in 2024, thanks to the Rome Art Week initiative, it formalized into a collective open to new participants each year.

The collective for the 2025 edition was formed based on the experience of the plein-air painting masterclass in the Roman countryside recently held by Laura Grosso and Anthony Lombardi.

The presentation of the works is curated by Giovanni Lauricella.
