Claudio Valerio was born in Popoli (Italy) in 1991. He lives and works in Bologna.

Graduate in Painting – Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, he undertook an internship in Denmark, at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, and he is now doing a professional internship at P420 Art Gallery (Bologna).

He took part in exhibitions such as: the double personal exhibition with Luca Campestri Opaco-Spettro-Opaco (Studio la Linea Verticale, Bologna, critical text by Valerio Dehò, 2022); the Biennale de la jeune création Mulhouse 023 (2023, Motoco, Mulhouse, France); Focus on PAINTING | la giovane pittura italiana (curated by Ivan D'Alberto, YAG/garage, Pescara, 2023); IN AND OUT (curated by Carmen Lorenzetti, Fondazione Zucchelli, Bologna, 2022).
